Dr. Rohit Garg

Dr. Rohit Garg is an integral part of the Door of Hope team and his expertise in deaddiction and recovery has immensely helped a large number of people on their road to recovery. After completing his preliminary education in Chandigarh, he did his M.B.B.S from B.J medical college, Pune and did his M.D in Psychiatry from King George Medical University, Lucknow. After completing his M.D, he worked for 3 years in All India Institute Medical Sciences (AIIMS) specialising in de-addiction and rehabilitation. He now specialises in adult, child and geriatric disorders after having done immense research work and using new techniques like Repetitive Trans Magnetic Stimulation and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. He has been invited by various T.V and radio channels to spread awareness about mental disorders. More than all the awards and recognitions, which he has achieved including one of the best doctors award in India by Medihealth magazine in 2011 and 2013 and Rajiv Gandhi Rashtriya Ekta Samman Award to name a few, Dr. Rohit Garg values his patient’s recovery and wellness more. He has seen more than 10,000 people free of cost on a charitable basis and most of his patients remember him for his patience and understanding, where he values the human life above everything else. His staff and associates respect him because of his hardworking and down to earth mannerism.

Mr. Vineet Airy

Nearing his decade long sobriety, Mr Vineet decided to formalize and create an institution to help others struggling with addiction. His mission in life has been to help other addicts overcome the very challenges he faced during his years of addiction. Having an 8 year long experience in the hospitality business prepared him well to take up the task of running a rehabilitation centre. Now, 10 years later he has mentored more than 350 addicts and their families, guiding them through the nuances of rehabilitation. Mr Vineet has gainfully applied the principle of AA and has personally mentored many who have made remarkable progress in their journey to recovery.

Mr. Ujjawal Suri

With over 17 years of professional experience, spanning from the IT sector, to business verticals like Real Estate & Automobile industries, Mr Ujjawal Suri initiated his entrepreneurial journey by setting foot in the Education sector by launching an institute for event management & skill development, which includes digital marketing & paramedics training courses. In 2020, he forayed into the healthcare space, specifically, mental health, attaching himself to the cause of creating awareness & working towards improving mental health conditions in India, by establishing Door of Hope wellness & rehabilitation institute which caters to in-patient treatment as well as day care treatment of people suffering from psychiatric disorders or addiction.

Dr. Danish Ahmed

Dr. Syed Danish Ahmed is an expert psychiatrist based in Delhi and has an experience of 11 years in the clinical field. He completed his MBBS degree from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore in 2010 and DPM (Psychiatry) from Central institute of psychiatry Ranchi in 2015. He is also a member of the Delhi Medical Council. His specialties include psychiatry and diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric disorders like depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder. He currently practices at Max Super Speciality Hospital in Saket, Delhi and is a core member of our team at Door of Hope.

Mr. Raj Mathur

Mr. Raj Mathur has selflessly dedicated his services for the well-being of Alcoholics and Addicts for the last 35 years and is well known for his deep understanding of the AA Big Book. He has been an active part of the DOH team and his passion about helping people afflicted with alcoholism and addiction is well without parallel.

Ms. Rita Marathey

Post Graduation in Rural Development and has a Certification in Counselling from University of West of Scotland. One of the senior most person in this field today, Rita has been working both voluntarily and full time in the field of Addiction for over three decades. She has a Post Graduation in Rural Development and has a Certification in Counselling from University of West of Scotland. She is also an alumnus of The Caron Foundation, Philadelphia and has been a Member of the Board of Visitors at Tihar Prisons, New Delhi, She has traveled extensively within the country and overseas in the course of her work in Corporate, Social and Private sectors. She is considered to be the one of best available resource for Family Counselling/Co-Dependency. She brings with her four decades of experience.psychiatric disorders like depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder. He currently practices at Max Super Speciality Hospital in Saket, Delhi and is a core member of our team at Door of Hope.
